If you’d like to experience being a member of a theatre company, we’d welcome you to join us! You don’t need to be experienced; we can provide training and can cater to different levels of involvement. We welcome actors, directors, stage managers, designers (Set, Costume, Lighting, Sound), the publicity people who bring in the crowds, and the admin people who keep the theatre running.
Members benefit from complimentary tickets to all Genesian Theatre Company productions, special events, advance notice for auditions, and more.

Almost all aspects of the Genesian Theatre operate on a volunteer basis, including set construction, front of house, publicity and more.
Currently we are seeking volunteers to help with:
Costume Clear-out – If you would like to help sort through and put together costumes for a jumble sale (or similar) please get in contact.
FOH Management – Checking that we have enough people assigned to the shows.
Social Media – We need someone to take on running the Facebook and Instagram accounts. Maybe you can even manage TikTok? This is something for someone who likes having fun with socials and has the know how to make it successful.
Email Marketing – We need someone to assist on marketing and sending regular emails to our patron base.
Fundraising Committee –. Have you experience with grant writing or do you know how to tap into what’s around along those lines?
Graphic Design – Join our team of designers and marketers to help creating promotional materials, programs etc. Full training and access to Canva provided.
